When we speak of the word "salvation", we are actually speaking about a lot more than the ability to enter into an eternal state of being of safety.  The Greek word "soteria" gives us a deeper meaning, and also includes the revelation of Jesus Christ and His earthly power to change lives.  Jesus referred to entering in to the Kingdom of Heaven (on earth), while actually living on the earth!  In other words, He likened the Kingdom of Heaven unto a field that a man bought, and sold everything that he had in order to purchase that field.  Jesus wanted us to know how much we should value the spiritual things that are given to us by our Father, God.  If we value earthly and temporal things, we ought value the things of God and of the Spirit--the eternal things even the more!

“ ANYBODY OUT THERE?”      by Charlotte Ochoa

I remember telling God that I was so tired of living and then I heard, “Let the Lord live his life THROUGH you.” That sounded like the best deal of my life! I obviously didn't want my miserable life, so if he wants it and he wants to live through me, GO FOR IT!!!
We thanked God for sending his Son, Jesus, to die on the cross. We asked for God’s Spirit to resurrect our lives and for the Holy Spirit to guide us and keep us. When I opened my eyes, it felt as though five hundred pounds had been lifted off of my chest. I felt so light and happy.
I realize now that I was born a sinner, but born again through Jesus Christ and, yes, he did resurrect my life. For the first time in years, when my head hit the pillow that night, I slept soundly and with a Great sense of peace. I am so thankful because God’s goodness lead me to repentance, (Romans 2:4), whereas I became a righteous person and this gave me the right to be forgiven, cleansed, and moved forward into my inheritance as a child of God. When I said a simple prayer of repentance, I received a sound mind, ulcers healed, a conscience came alive, habits changed, and many other miracles occurred.
I know now that when I disappoint God and fall, I have to shout, “Rise up and let the same spirit that raised Christ from the dead, be in me and raise me up!” Bishop T. D Jakes has taught that when you fall down as a righteous person, you should get up
As a righteous person. The falling down does not make you a sinner again; when the enemy tries to make us believe that we are beyond repentance, we are empowering him and saying that the blood of Jesus is not strong enough.
I have a right to rule and reign when I am made free with repentance and chose Salvation for my life.

In the Old Testament, Salvation represented the Deliverance of the Israelites from the Egyptians, (Exodus 14:13), and the deliverance from evil and danger. According to Ungers Bible dictionary, Old Testament prophesies centered on one who was to come and bring salvation. In Hebrews 2:3, salvation represents deliverance from sin, deliverance from guilt and pollutions of sin. Matthew 20:28 states, “The Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life a ransom for many.” Redemption is the purchase back of something that had been lost, by the paying of a ransom. This debt is not viewed as simply cancelled, but is fully paid. The blood of Christ, his life is the ransom resulting in our salvation.
Romans 1:16 tells us it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes. It is our free-Will choice to receive this gift into our life. All we have to do is believe on the Lord God and we will be saved, (Acts 16:31). Habakkuk 3:18,19 states, “I will rejoice in the Lord, I will joy in the God of my salvation. The Lord God is my strength…”

Luke Baldwin: The Call For the Carriers of Glory (That's You and Me!)
by Luke Baldwin
Dec 29, 2012

Intro by Trevor Baker:

Over the years that I've known Luke, I found him to be a young man who is filled with passion, but he also has a high regard for integrity and relationship. At the heart of Luke's ministry lies a passion for the presence of God so that people's lives are changed and transformed. It is this passion that continues to fire Luke's pursuit of God's presence. Luke is able to communicate the message that God has given to him with clarity and sensitivity and longs to see the Word demonstrated with the power of the Holy Spirit that results in people's lives being healed and set free. Luke also has a vision to see a generation rise up and he is committed to imparting all that he has received from God into the lives of others. I believed that Luke is one of the rising generation that will take hold of revival and run with it so that there will be no ebb. I recommend this ministry to you.

God has a life for you that has been birthed right out of the atmosphere of Heaven. It holds your identity and purpose and is the key to walking in the same measure that Jesus walked in. In this hour there is a sound from Heaven that has been released. It is driving those with ears to hear into the secret place to encounter Him afresh and in unprecedented measures. This is the trumpet call for the groundswell of an awakening in the land. These are days of glory visitations and walking in the life and power of the Kingdom of Heaven. God is about to publicly reveal the private fruit of the encounter with Him.

I recently tweeted, "It's not about being special or called out more than anyone else. It's a matter of how you utilize your identity and the power of the Gospel."

Do you know who you are? Proverbs says, "As a man thinks, so he is." Who do you say that you are? Do you see yourself from a limited, worldly perspective or are you firmly rooted in the awareness of what Heaven says about you? The truth is that your perspective either limits or magnifies potential, expectation, and confidence. There is no opting live out of the revelation of your identity. It is vital that as a child of God you understand exactly what Jesus did for you. He did more than give you a ticket for the glory train to eternity. He birthed something so magnificent that it is His solution to carrying out the expansion of His Kingdom in the earth.

Created In and For Glory

YOU have been created to carry the glory of God. Hebrews 2 says that through Christ's suffering He brought many sons to glory. You are the house of God, and He wants to dwell in His house. It was always God's intention to dwell with mankind. It is why He created humanity. From the beginning Adam was set apart from the rest of creation. In the creation account, Genesis 2:7 says:

"Then the Lord God formed man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath or spirit of life, and man became a living being."

He took the natural realm and formed the body of Adam and then breathed His own breath into him. Adam became a living being as the breath entered into Him. The divine realm of the Spirit forged a likeness and oneness between God and mankind, the natural and spiritual realm. Everything of mankind's identity and purpose was birthed in the breath.

Notice the environment that Adam was created in:

"There went up a mist (fog, vapor) from the land and watered the whole surface of the ground" (Genesis 2:6).

There have been innumerable accounts across the world in meetings of Christians where the glory of God gets so strong that mist, fog, or a cloud manifests to the visible eye. This shekinah glory of God, the visible and tangible presence of God, lingers in a place. Throughout the Old Testament, God revealed Himself in the form of a cloud as He allowed His presence and glory be seen to His creation. Remember Moses on the mountain for 40 days and nights, or the guiding pillar? Then there was Solomon at the temple dedication where the priests couldn't stand. This shekinah was unbearable to fallen mankind. Yet, it was in this atmosphere that Adam was created. The mist of God was the environment that He formed us within and then breathed into us.

Mankind was created to dwell in this glory but abdicated the position of sonship through rebellion. From the time of Adam's initial sin, the Father's desire was to regain this intimacy with mankind. The DNA of the Scriptures is God inviting humanity back to a place of intimacy and purpose. He loved us so much that He sent His own Son to bridge the gap for us, taking on the price for sin, so that we may boldly approach Him again, walking in His glory that we were initially created to walk in.

A New Creation

The price paid by Jesus did more than get you that ticket. Something extraordinary takes place when we receive Him as Lord and Saviour. Second Corinthians 5:17 says:

"Therefore if any person is [ingrafted] in Christ (the Messiah) he is a new creation (a new creature altogether); the old [previous moral and spiritual condition] has passed away. Behold, the fresh and new has come!"

The person you were before receiving Christ has been taken away and put to death on His Cross. You have received a brand new life, identity and purpose. Listen to this:

"It is written, the first man Adam became a living being (an individual personality); the last Adam (Christ) became a life-giving Spirit (restoring the dead to life)" (1 Corinthians 15:45).

The difference between the first Adam and the last One is that one receives life and the other gives it. Jesus became a life-giving Spirit that continually restores dead things to life. Resurrection power is the foundation to His identity. Now see this:

"Just as we have been borne the image (of the man) of dust, so shall we and so let us also bear the image (of the Man) of Heaven" (1 Corinthians 15:49).

Wow! In the same way that before Christ we lived according to the sinful nature of Adam, when we enter into Christ, we take on His nature, image, purpose, and potential. We are a new creation fashioned in the image of Christ – that is, a life-giving Spirit. We are created with resurrection power at the foundation of our existence in Him. We are no longer of the world but are firmly rooted in the identity and purpose of Heaven, a new breed, created to be accustomed to the presence and glory of God so that we can carry it into the world as the ambassadors of the Kingdom of God. We are now carrying the Spirit of Life to continue the pulling down of all of the works of satan (see 1 John 3:8b).

It's time we get hungry for a revelation of His glory in our lives. For too long we have disqualified the legitimacy of seeking the experiential with God for fear of being flaky. We are created in and for the realm of shekinah glory. When we enter into this posture through Christ...

"...the veil is removed. Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. And we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another. For this comes from the Lord who is the Spirit" (2 Corinthians 3:16-18).

We are postured to behold the glory of God, the image of the invisible God (see Colossians 1:15). The more we dwell in His glory, the greater the revelation of His nature in our lives. It's through restored intimacy that we discover our truest nature manifest.

The Cloud and Fire

As I was meditating on my new created identity in Christ, the Spirit brought to my attention the account of Moses in Exodus 24:16-18 where God called Moses into His Shekinah glory:

"The glory of the Lord rested on Mount Sinai, and the cloud covered it for six days. On the seventh day [God] called to Moses out of the midst of the cloud. And the glory of the Lord appeared to the Israelites like devouring fire on the top of the mountain. Moses entered into the midst of the cloud and went up the mountain, and Moses was on the mountain forty days and nights."

I have never noticed this before, but the sight that Moses was seeing was different than that of the Israelites. The intimacy of the cloud you see is seen as fire to those around you. When you dwell in the shekinah, the fiery glory dwells on you. The source of your identity becomes the power for your purpose.

What was it that the Jewish people saw in Jesus? Probably the same thing that we see when we look at someone moving in power. We see the acts of power flow and we become fixated on it. All we see is the power of God residing like fire on an individual. Yet few of us stand back and see the Source of this fire: Jesus would continually withdraw to the mountain into a place of encounter with the Father. He would then return and continue in power, destroying the works of the enemy. The people only saw the fruit of His encounters with Father God.

If you want to live in the experiential knowledge of the power of God, you have to posture yourself in intimacy. There is no shortcut. Christ is the source. Just as in Genesis, where the mist watered the whole earth, so too He desires to continually water your life in His glory, nourishing your entire being, so that when you step into the world, they see His fiery glory on you.

You are a new creation, birthed out of the Blood covenant of Christ. Not only have you been given access to God Almighty, but you have been called to continue the advancement of Christ's victory in the world.

1 John 3:8b The reason the Son of God was made manifest (visible) was to undo (destroy, loosen, and dissolve) the works the devil [has done].

John 20:21-23 Then Jesus said to them again, "Peace to you! [Just] as the Father has sent Me forth, so I am sending you." And having said this, He breathed on them and said to them, "Receive the Holy Spirit! [Now having received the Holy Spirit, and being led and directed by Him] if you forgive the sins of anyone, they are forgiven; if you retain the sins of anyone, they are retained."

The same mission to carry out the will of the Father was handed to the disciples. Jesus then breathed on them and they received the Spirit of Life. This is the impartation that transforms them into a new creation. Just as Adam received breath, so did they, only this time they weren't becoming a living being, they were being made into life-giving beings, carrying the resurrection power of the Holy Spirit.

A Fiery River Is Flowing

For several years now, during ministry times, I would see a river flowing that had flames resting on the surface of the water. The Holy Spirit revealed to me sometime later this Scripture:

"A stream of fire came forth from before Him" (Daniel 7:10).

In Daniel's vision, he saw four kingdoms that were to rise up against the dominion of God in the earth. As the Ancient of Days takes His seat on the throne, Daniel sees a fiery river go out before Him as the Lord issues judgments into the earth that gave dominion to the saints of God.

Psalm 97:3 Fire goes before Him and burns up His adversaries round about.

The fiery river of God is carrying the judgments of God. Whatever it touches becomes consumed. The fire purges, and the river releases resurrection life. You are carrying the fiery river of God. As you walk out from the throne room of God, the place of intimacy and glory, you carry resurrection power, giving life to all that you touch, and you carry the judgments of God to tear down the strongholds of satan in the earth. This is more than metaphorical speak. There is real fruit to be had. Just as Jesus demonstrated and promised, you will see all His works and greater (see John 14:12).

Carriers of Glory Inherit the Land For Christ

This is who you were created to be. The shekinah glory that we have access to through the Blood covenant of Jesus empowers us to live the life of an overcomer, walking in the abiding presence of Holy Spirit with the endorsement of Heaven following, to establish the rule and reign of Christ in the earth. When you dwell in His glory, He begins to dwell on you.

Zechariah 2:5 "For I," says the Lord, "will be to her a wall of fire round about, and I will be the glory in the midst of her."

The intimacy of the glory cloud appears as fire to those around! So, hear the prophetic call in this hour to posture yourself in the Blood of Christ, boldly and confidently approaching the throne of God. There is an army that is being breathed upon. We have been in an extensive time of preparation. There has been a generation that swallowed the death pill of religion, form without power. Consumed by the cares of the world and hindered through lack of knowledge of what is available, they are unaware that they were created for the regular, experiential encounter of the glory of God.

God has been calling forth the dry bones to reform. He has been realigning hearts, hopes and hunger, getting them ready for an encounter with Him that will catapult them into the experience of their new creation in identity and power. There is a call from the deep of God in this hour to step into the secret place, and it is there that we will receive the fresh breath of God.

Ezekiel 37:9-14 Then said He to me, "Prophesy to the breath and spirit, son of man, and say to the breath and spirit, 'Thus says the Lord God: "Come from the four winds, O breath and spirit, and breathe upon these slain that they may live."'" So I prophesied as He commanded me, and the breath and spirit came into [the bones], and they lived and stood up upon their feet, an exceedingly great host. Then He said to me, "Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel. Behold, they say, 'Our bones are dried up and our hope is lost; we are completely cut off.' Therefore prophesy and say to them, 'Thus says the Lord God: "Behold, I will open your graves and cause you to come up out of your graves, O My people; and I will bring you [back home] to the land of Israel. And you shall know that I am the Lord [your Sovereign Ruler], when I have opened your graves and caused you to come up out of your graves, O My people. And I shall put My Spirit in you and you shall live, and I shall place you in your own land. Then you shall know, understand, and realize that I the Lord have spoken it and performed it, says the Lord."'"

There is an awakening in the U.K. and Europe that will shake this entire generation. It has already begun. It didn't start with the visible fire. It started with the secret place encounter with the shekinah glory cloud of God. Here they have received the breath of God and they will walk out in all-consuming, resurrection power. Go for it! We can do it because He has said we can!

Habakkuk 2:14 But [the time is coming when] the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord as the waters cover the sea.

Fire of His Presence

Luke Baldwin is the founder of Fire of His Presence and operates with a strong prophetic gift. He regularly ministers in word of knowledge and healing and in prophetic ministry for the equipping of the local Church, cities and the nations. Luke is passionate to see revival birthed in the nations while investing into the next generation to pursue greater depths of breakthrough in our churches and cities. He has seen outpourings of the Spirit firsthand and is abandoned to intimacy with Holy Spirit that births reformation out of revival. In September 2012, Trevor Baker, Jeff Jansen and Chuck Pierce commissioned Luke to birth breakthrough in cities and carry revival in his generation. Luke is married to Elizabeth and has two daughters. They reside in Hull, U.K., and attend New Life Church under the leadership of Jarrod Cooper.
