"​Inside the womb of every great nation lies the seeds of adversity and yes, even controversy. Greatness is never born out of unwillingness or the lack of the courage to fight for what is true and pure and noble. The United States of America was born out of the womb of a fervent desire for liberty. The very tenets of The Kingdom of God are centered in the blessedness of having peace, joy and right standing with The Almighty.

By the founding of this nation, God birthed the very seed that is necessary for the proving of His Sovereignty. He planted in the hearts and minds of the
founding fathers the search and the yearning for truth.  It is in the laboratory of creation that The Almighty wages His own secret warfare against the enemy of all mankind. You see, He is the Creator and Master of everything; therefore liberty became the forearm of His worldwide crusade against Satan. Certainly anyone who does their research concerning who God is must delve into the tenets of covenant. The conflict that is age-less is over whether or not God Almighty has the right to expect loyalty and obedience from His own creation. We must ask ourselves if we individually believe in the Sovereignty of God, and will remain loyal to Him to settle the age-long debate over whether God or Satan has the right to govern the human race.  

Sounds like a no-brainer! The right to rule or govern belongs to the inventor—right? So what is all of the hoopla over obeying God?  We have an instruction manual and a Guide, The Holy Spirit; and The Holy Spirit is the Governor. Actually, it is pretty simple; and the Bible does say that “the way is so plain that a fool cannot err.”  When this nation was born, the founding fathers placed God at the Head of everything. On our money is “IN GOD WE TRUST”; on the Washington Monument is inscribed, “PRAISE BE TO GOD!”
The Washington Monument is the most prominent, as well as one of the older, attractions in Washington, D.C..  It was built in honor of George Washington, who led the country to independence, and then became its first President. The Monument is shaped like an Egyptian obelisk, 555’ 5/8” high, and averages 30 to 40 miles visibility in clear weather. It was finished on December 6, 1884.

The defining seed of the womb of this great country is the reverential fear  and love for God Almighty. In the halls of the senate and house buildings are the inscriptions and markings of God-fearing, freedom-loving men and women who shaped the pattern for a nation that will stand!  Many enemies of God and this nation may try to change the fabric of this great country; however, the truth of who we are cannot be changed. All we need do is look inside our own souls and examine what we know and believe.

“We the People of the United States of America, in Order to form a more  perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common Defense, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.”

The very principles stated in the Preamble of this country are rooted in the words printed in the Bible, as we are instructed to “. . . do justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God?” (Micah 6:8) The LORD Himself has made justice the measuring line, and desires for nations and their leaders to be willing to seek and receive instruction in righteousness, that the people may receive good and not evil. (Isaiah 28:16-17)

If you have ever read your Bible to discover the promises and blessings of God concerning His people, He established promises, and made them available for all peoples through His Son.  Jesus Christ, the Anointed One is given to us as The Way to oneness and completeness. In Adam, all of mankind died a spiritual death, making “oneness” with the Father impossible; however, in Christ all are made alive, and brought near unto The Father. 

When we pray, “Our Father, who is in Heaven,” we are acknowledging and confessing our need to be one with the Father again. This model prayer, in Matthew 6:9-13, opens for us the door to the Kingdom of Heaven. The Father understands our basic need to be loved and cared for.  The Kingdom of Heaven is ruled from The Father’s Throne, and He tells us to come to Him, (to His throne) boldly, so that we can obtain mercy and find grace to help in the time of need. He gives His authority and power to those who love and honor Him. He gives the revelation of the cross and our victory in the Cross of Christ to those who come to Him for guidance and help. This is the very nature and character of Almighty God.

Have you ever wondered why or how God chose you as His? Have you ever marveled at the grace and love of God in choosing the lowly and seemingly base things of this world to make the high and lofty things appear mundane and irrelevant?  How is it that He, The Father, The Creator of all things, Who obviously has more intelligence than any other being, lowers Himself to a finite and limited dimension, when He Himself is infinite and limitless? I stand in awe of the compassion and the nature and ways of God; in how He cares for and qualifies us to have not only our being in and through Him, but calls us to be heirs of His throne and grace. So as God sits on the Throne in Heaven, He also, by Christ Jesus calls us to sit with Him. Satan hates us for that very reason. He wanted the Throne and tried to take it by causing rebellion of one third of the other angels, and got kicked out of Heaven; and yet, God gives us The Throne, and dominion over everything He created, even though we are not perfect.

So we must understand that dominion is not given to us because of our ability to subdue and conquer, but rather God’s choice to place us over His creation.  When we realize that we owe everything to Almighty God our Father, it is then that we find ourselves in a place of esteem and power---but only through Him. “Once God has spoken it, twice I have heard this: That power belongs to God.” (Psalm 62:11 NKJV)

King David penned these words concerning the justice that he was so assured of that comes by trusting in and relying on God. Rank, title or status does not impress God; nor does it cause Him to sway in carrying out justice. “Surely men of low degree are a vapor, Men of high degree are a lie; If they are weighed on the scales, they are altogether lighter than vapor.” (Psalm 62:9 NKJV)


“. . . BORN IN SIN”

When my grandfather was born, he was fathered by the son of an
Irishman and born to the mother of a Mulatto (white/black). In the
days when my great grandfather was born, it was not yet acceptable to
say that my father is a white man and my mother is a black woman;
and so, in most cases, the legitimate love of a white man for his black
wife was hidden in the corridors of hatred and prejudice. That which
was hidden, caused generations to be misplaced and hopeless in their
orientation in this world. My grandfather, whose true family name
is Summers, because of the taboo of our society, was named after and
raised by his mother’s side of the family, instead of his own natural
father. However, truth has an element in it that is called LIGHT; and
light calls to itself every constituent to witness to its validity. Truth
cannot be overtaken, covered up or uprooted. Jesus speaks eternally,
“I am the Way, the Truth and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through through Me.” (John 14:6) This testament to us is for the purpose of understanding that only when we have yielded ourselves as vessels for His use can we accept and process the things of the Kingdom.  It is only when He has placed His mark of approval on us that we can be presented to The Father. For THE ALMIGHTY “shall not judge by the sight of the eyes, nor decide by the hearing of His ears; But with righteousness He shall judge the poor, and decide with equity for the meek of the earth.” (Isaiah 11:3b-4a)

“For the law of the Spirit of Life in Christ Jesus has made me free from
the law of sin and death.” (Romans 8:2) When I was born, Mom said
that I was a lovable baby, whom total strangers would take out of her arms to snuggle and play with. She told me of various accounts where
we would go to town and store clerks would take me and have me all
over the store. And so it is with all babies---so innocent and fresh; kind
of like joy all in one neat little bundle. Then the maturation process
takes that cute little bundle of joy and turns him or her into a toddler-
--learning the art of manipulation. Crying becomes a skillful tool in
getting the attention of mother and those who baby can depend upon
to attend to his or her every whim. It is soon learned that laughter
and baby giggles will cause the adult audience do just about anything.
The baby talk, the ooohs and aaahs tell baby that he or she can get the
moon if only the request is made (smile).

So how is it that we are born in sin, when such an adorable little bundle
of joy comes into the world? Th at statement undoubtedly is false, or
is it? What did the Psalmist mean when he said, “Surely I was sinful at
birth, sinful from the time my mother conceived me?” (Psalm 51:5 New
Scofi eld NIV) Certainly he could not have been implying that a baby
has sin in his or her life, could he? Quite possibly David knew that sin
did not simply come up and leap on him one day, and that the innate
markings on his being must have been from within.

Perhaps The Almighty gave David a lasting glimpse of Adam and Eve
and the purpose that He had for mankind. What if they had not sinned
against God and would have continued in perfect union with Him?  I believe Him? I believe that we can come to a definite conclusion by looking at the book of Genesis, the very first chapter and the 27th and 28th verses. “So God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. Then God blessed them God and said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.” God spelled out his plan and purpose for man in the very beginning. He had no hidden agenda, but made man ONE with Him. 

That very fact should convince every human that God is worthy of our love, obedience and allegiance.  Now we understand that when David said that he was sinful at birth and sinful from the time that his mother conceived him, he knew that the very seed from which he was born was not one of unity with God; but of rebellion against God’s right as Sovereign. Because of Eve’s weakness, and Adam’s neglect, Satan stole “the birthright” of every living human---the privilege to be born perfect and in oneness with The Father.
